Association celebrates Vesak in May every year. Members are encouraged to obtain Sil on the day.
SLGTTIOBA undertake responsibilities of a selected Melbourne Temple’s Vesak Day Activities.
Morning “Heel Dane”, “Morning Gilanpasa”, “Afternoon Dane” & “Afternoon Gilanpasa” get provided by the association. This meritorious project is actioned by over 50 members. Cleaning, Serving Food and attending to devotees requirements on the day is taken care by the association members.
Onsite cooking is planned weeks before the event to cater for over 500 devotees.
Another association project participated by different religious backgrounds for the success of a large community event.
