The Good Friday Appeal is a unique fundraising activity that brings together people from all parts of the community with the common goal of raising funds for The Royal Children Hospital in Melbourne. SLGTTIOBA is a registered fundraising association since 2006.

Association members join together on Good Friday at four major Melbourne intersections with collection containers. Members’ motivation has increased from its initiation, with families joining the effort during the day. Team leaders of this project ensure the welfare of their members and families throughout the day. Food, water and other required amenities are provided to the teams to ensure that all enjoy this worthy cause with minimum distractions. All proceeds go directly to the Good Friday Appeal.
